Share enables companies and cities to offer reliable transportation to the places their people go to most. By scheduling group routes ahead of time, rides cost significantly less than other on-demand transportation options and commuters can save thousands in yearly costs. That means more money in rider’s pockets and less congestion on roads.

Current State Audit
After gathering feedback from early adaptors, it was clear the onboarding experience could be improved to help new users effortlessly book their first ride. Since this was an entirely new way to commute, it was important to lean on existing patterns users would be familiar with from other adjacent transportation categories (like booking a flight or tracking a rideshare). For aspects of the experience unique to Share’s model—like recurring rides or group routing—we wove in contextual education to help users move through the booking flow with confidence.
Visual Refresh
As we developed concepts for the new booking flow, we also revisited the visual fit and finish of the app. The color palette was modified to improve accessibility and a fresh new illustration style was introduced to bring the Share service to life.


Enhanced Booking Flow
The final booking flow concept broke out what was previously a single form into multiple steps. This approach allowed for contextual adjustments to be made later in the flow based on a user’s previous inputs.
